i really love Kashi go lean cereal.. through a little vanilla yogurt, and some frozen wild berries in... mmmm
plain greek yogurt, pecans and blueberry granola...with a latte with extra foam and cinnamon on top. My ultimate favorite but one I can't have often ): is a full fat plain latte with a chocolate crossaint. I'm a huge breakfast eater. Today I didn't have time and then i didn't have time for lunch and then before I knew it it was 6 a clok...I hate those kinda days):
Depends on my mood and what is in the 'fridge and how much time I have to prepare. I like sourdough pancakes with lime yogurt on the side. I like smoked salmon sautéed with onions and scrambled eggs. I like grilled cheese sandwiches with fresh beefsteak tomato slices, fresh basil and ground black pepper. There are a variety of hot cereals that I also enjoy; Scottish porridge, cream of rye, Irish oats. For the most part I usually just eat cottage cheese on barley sprout toast. I like variety
English breakfast. This is unique to Britain. Okey: Four sausages two eggs sunny side up three rashes of bacon Heinz beans fried mushrooms fried toast two hash browns four slices of toast two black pudding slices lots of HP Sauce Mustard on sausages. English Colmans Mustard. Don't accept immitations! Serve once you fried and cooked all the ingredients except for HP sauce and Mustard as these are condiments. Serve on a big plate and sprinkle pepper and salt Put kettle on and make a cup of Yorkshire tea. Three lumps. I could have an English breakfast everyday. This is a very filling breakfast and will keep you going till elevensis which consists of scones and cream with jam and a pot of Darjeeling. Then lunch at noon.
one egg omlette with mozz cheese and morning start saugage crumbles and a beautifully fresh sqeezed glass of oj...i wish i had it everyday but im too lazy to wake up during the week to make it...cuz i got school
I pretty much knew them all except for the HP Sauce. http://store.shopenglandonline.com/hpsauce16ox.html Sounds actually quite tasty.
Muesli and yoghurt. Or fresh picked blueberries and yoghurt. Or if I'm feeling particularly unhealthy, English breakfast.
My favorite breakfast is one of two things. Either a pancake sandwich(two pancakes with 3 eggs over easy in between the two pancakes and surronded by strips of bacon), or biscuits and gravy with sausage.
There's nothing I like more than a good old bacon sandwich to start off the day, except maybe sex, but that's a whoooole different topic lol.
A tall, frosted glass of chocolate milk, made with Hershey's syrup. And an english muffin, served open faced, with toasted cheese on top. I usually have at least 6 different cheeses available, from all over the world. Something about molten cheese just pulls my trigger. x
I usually have fuji apples for breakfast, or melons of one sort or another. But when I want a filling old fashioned breakfast, I ask Mr. Wonderful to make "Eggs Goldenrod", real "comfort" food after you get past the looks of it. Eggs Goldenrod: 4-5 Hard boiled eggs 2 T Butter 2 T All purpose flour 1 C Milk sliced bread for toast (we pan fry it, YUM!) salt and pepper, to taste Peel eggs, separate whites from yolk. Chop whites into bite size chunks, mash yolks with tines of fork, set aside. Melt butter in pot on stovetop med to med-high heat. Mix in flour to form a roux. Wisk in milk, bring to a boil, adding salt/pepper to taste. Should become gravy-like consistency. Remove from heat and mix in chopped egg whites. Serve ladled over toast with mashed egg yolks sprinkled on top. Enjoy! And I'd say we more "fluff" the egg yolks - not mash, as this recipe states.
Hmm, I think I have two. One is Granola with Yogurt and strawberries, and then I think Biscuits and Gravy. Actually I just thought of another, Chocolate Chip Pancakes! Those always make me happy in the morning
On most days I love to have scrambled eggs and toast with a bit of apple jelly, but there are just some days when nothing but waffles smothered in peanut butter, syrup and a dash a cinnamon will do.
