The corpse pose, I love this one. It last a long time and if done correctly, you are totally chill at completion.
this usually happens to me for a minute or two when i'm trying to force myself to get out of bed each morning:
OMG!!! I am officially more impressed than I can relate! That is so so so damn badass...you must be strong and coordinated!!! But that still doesn't cover how much I am in awe of you!
It is really balance moreso than strength. You just squat and put your knees on your arms and start leaning forward until your feet come off the ground. It is easier than it looks!
And wrist that don't hurt when weighted. I cringe at the thought of doing this. I've broken my wrist a few times over the years, they don't bend like they use to. Very impressive that you can do this one.
I'll go to a class every once in a while but prefer to do it alone. I started out doing it alone and learning one pose at a time and holding the pose for a minute or so, whereas most classes do yoga flows and move quickly through poses - I dont really find the flows as meditative and relaxing
Did you follow one of those youtube workout channels? I want to get into pilates or barre again. I also loved boxing, but for now I need something eeeasyyy.
I learned from a book of yoga poses but I do the youtube videos sometimes. I've also been doing pilates from youtube videos lately too. Pilates are really hard! I would like to try barre sometime too
well then i'll just fall back to sleep. pulling my legs up under me like that is basically step one toward climbing out of bed. i tried yoga for a couple months at one point using one of those channels. i don't know if the instructor wasn't good or if yoga just wasn't for me, but i didn't notice any benefits from it and i actually seemed to lose strength over that period. but i stuck with it for a while because the instructor was incredibly hot.
That's the point, the last part of yoga is to totally relax........every cell, every muscle, every bone in your body. I've come close to nodding at the end of a few classes.
There from kundlini yoga , Ohm na mo Guro dev na mo , spine flex , more , but I dont know how to spell them . There are a number of good kundlini videos on you tube . I use opera as a browser and saved from net as an extion to down load the videos . I watch/do them from my t.v.
