I love my bike, I have a Trek cruiser... Gonna upgrade this year to a new model, lime green I hope. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD GET BIKE PEDALS THAT LOOK LIKE FEET? LIKE IN A SPORTS CAR BUT FOR A BIKE.
When we go out of town, of course, our reliable PT Cruiser (automobile). But if I'm just going to the store or something that real close, I'll walk. Good for the body too.
in my opinion, walking (especially bare-foot) is the closest to nature, the healthiest, and the most eco-friendly. paisley skye.
and the most painful, given the road conditions these days. not to mention dirtiness and the chance of infection.
I don't have a car but when I did have one I loved nothing more than that feeling of freedom, going anywhere, anytime with some music and friends. When I'm with nature then walking is my favourite since its slow and I can enjoy the sounds and smells
It depends:_ Work = Vehicular - Quicker to get out of that place and return home. Local = Feet - Embace the atmosphere and keep (as) fit (as I can) Distance = Train - Watch the World going by from a window Abroad = Flight - Seasickness nausea not a pleasant feeling (and that was some time ago so not often at all) > PS Barefoot is best
My favorite way to travel honestly depends on the distance and weather too! Case I: Destination less than a mile and a half away, between 25-75 degrees Fahrenheit, not raining- I like to walk. Nothing is better to wake you up before work or school than walking (in my case from the parking lot) a good half mile briskly to your office. This time of year makes walking even more appealing (I typed this in Mid-October). Case II: Destination close but poor weather: I like to drive my car. If it is a dangerous walk (ie: I would need to cross dangerous streets) and the weather is poor, I thoroughly enjoy driving my car to the destination, enjoying the street-side sights as I go. Most hippies don't like cars, but I am not a traditional hippy anyways. Case III: Destination 20-200 miles away, good weather: Again, my favorite way to go is the vehicle for these travels. I rarely use heat or air conditioning (my A/C doesn't even work right now- I drive a very old but sturdy car...) unless it is extreme. I enjoy the wind in my face and the sun on my face. I like 100 mile drives more than the average person simply because it forces the driver (me) to focus on one thing, driving. So it clears my mind. Case IV- over 200 miles: I strongly prefer taking the train over taking a plane for journeys like this. Obviously, going overseas would require a plane (unless I could afford a trip on The Queen Mary liner), but ever since the increase in airport security, I get in a really foul mood taking the plane. Getting treated like a criminal for no reason is not a nice way to start a vacation. Trains are more money, but I like them a lot. Both Coach and First Class offer their own interesting quirks to travel. So basically, I will not fly unless I have to. I really like driving for intermediate travel. I don't like riding a bicycle but I love to walk.
Car if it's a trip to another state cause then you can stop along the way if you pass other states. Airplane if it would be like 15 hours to drive xD Walk and bike if it's not snowing and somewhat close. And boat cause boats are just cool
I Bicycle Everywhere. Even if it takes a few days. I take a Greyhound when I have to leave New England.
