Definitely Lord of the Rings. Incidentally I have watched all three movies consecutively. It was 9 1/2 hours of non-stop Lord of the Rings action. It was awesome.
Back to the future... i knew they replaced jennifer..but thats ok. I watched indy last night...the one with the annoying kid. I hate that one..because of that annoying little kid.Harrisons way too old to reprise the role though..lots of CGI i guess
I would say: A Fistful Of Dollars For A Few Dollars More The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Whether it's a true trilogy or not...
Yes I am a dire star wars lover also..... 1,2 and 3! (Unmolested and pure) I would say my favourite is star wars and back to the future....
I am gonna say Indiana Jones minus The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (I don't know how Shia LeBeauf even exists). Then comes the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Then followed by Star Wars, (I think I watched them WAY too many times) I know it isn't a trilogy but the first six Star Trek movies were always my favorite, with a special weakness for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home!
I really like all three Hobbit movies, as well as all three Lord of the Rings movies. No complaints, really... I have copies of "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King" from the library. I watched "The Two Towers" last night. It's weird... the CGI doesn't seem that great. For example the talking trees should be remastered or whatever. lol. But all in all really good. Gollum is awesome, and Elijah Wood and the rest of the cast were all great. Gandalf the white or Saruman or whatever he morphed into after dueling the whip-wielding Balrog or whatever it's called, was also brilliant. Really enjoyable despite not being old enough for much nostalgia yet.
Not really trilogies die hard, didn't like 2nd - but the original and 3,4 are great Predator Terminator The Transporter Mission Impossible Godfather
My preference would be for LOTR - (with 'the Hobbit' as a separate trilogy) but as "this is business, and not personal" I'm gonna say (as I speak softly):- THE GODFATHER
Hmmm... This is a difficult topic. The 3rd installment is always the weakest one in the trilogy stories I like best... Star Wars, Aliens, Terminator. The latter two in particular have significant drop off. The story of Lord of the Rings doesn't appeal to me as much as those but all the LOTR movies are quality and this perhaps makes for more enjoyment of the trilogy as a whole.
Its the alternative world setting and lore and history for me that makes the story of Lord of the Rings so great. Hence why i dig the books a lot more. Same with George Martins A Song of Ice and Fire (Games of thrones)
God father 1,2, and 3.. and all the other spin offs that followed casino etc.. Followed by boardwalk empire ...
I swear in the Two Towers Gandalf says something about him being Saruman. I know, not a mistake to make lightly...
