"Goin' To California" from Led Zeppelin IV is one of my most favorite Led Zeppelin songs. I'm listening to it right now.
Indeed, Led Zeppelin has always been the more popular rock band. I think only Pink Floyd rates higher in the catagory "most polular 70's rockband. And I'm not even sure about that... All I know is that, with the exception of Led Zeppelin IV, I never came to like the band. And that's a nice pick with Keith Moon on it. It's said that he was the one that came up with the name "Led Zeppelin".
well, pink floyd defintly one of the top performers of the time thats obvious BUT, you gotta remember Zeppelin BLEW UP the United States (their from England)
i think II is the best. it's probably their most bluesy album, but i am probably wrong. heartbreaker, ramble on, lemon song, whole lotta love are all classics to me. even livin, lovin maid is good.
IV would definatly be my favorite zeppelin album. When the Levee Breaks is one of my all time favorite songs.
The fourth album. This is an album with something for everyone. Rock and Roll AND Battle of Evermore AND Going to California! Also, whether it's overplayed by radio stations or overmythologized by everyone else, Stairway to Heaven is an awesome song (and also on this album).
Water baby, where is the last studio album "In through the outdoor"? And where is the the last album "Coda" with unrealized earlier tracks?
I'm going with Zeppelin I. It is very bluesy, and there is nothing like Zeppelin blues. Babe, Good Times, Dazed, Your Time, How Many More Times.......i really dont think it can be beat....
I LOVE ITTOD! All My Love is one of the most beautiful songs.... and In The Evening is incredible! I voted for HOTH although it changes weekly
