I loooooove fruit. I am good at picking the best fruit from the bunch. I know when fruit is fresh and tasty. There's the orange, in all it's glory, great for breakfast and makes the most wonderful juice. Oranges are really great anytime and the orange would have to be my favorite fruit. Then there's the slender, yellow banana. A perfect parcel. Delicious and makes a great snack. The mango- oval, both sweet and tart. Pineapple, pineapple you rock my world. Hard on the outside, but delicate on the inside. I love fruit and wish I could live off nothing but fruit, I guess I could technically be a fruitarian.. I love to indulge in berry smoothies and fruit salads. Fruit is really the only food I enjoy. Since I like to nerd out on fruit, I'm curious what everyone's favorite is and Why. You can only pick one. Well pick your number 1 then you can also list your runners up.
watermelons! I can just smash my head into it. Once when I was on vacation, I bought 9 watermelons and threw them all out of my car.. well, my friends did while I was driving. We did it late at night, also tried to hit speed radars. The day after we went to see how the road looked during the day, looked like diarrhea everywhere hehehe.. also if you eat loads of it, you sh*t like a railgun out the ass. fun and great fruit
. My favorite? That is difficult. I think strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, cherries and nectarines. I also love every other fruit, pretty much. Except oranges. They are ok, but I'd rather eat a clementine, grapefruit or tangerine.
Mostly berries because of their low sugar and high antioxidant content. Blackberries are my favorite, followed by strawberries. And of course I cannot forget the avocado, which I eat more than any other fruit, though most people don't think of it as a fruit because it isn't sweet. Aren't you diabetic, Rainy? Being a fruitarian probably wouldn't be the best choice. I know if I was a diabetic, I would eliminate fruit altogether and focus on vegetables instead.
I was wondering if we were counting tomatoes and avocados. Those would be way up there, too. I eat both every day, mostly.
Yes.. I'm type 1 and I think a lot of people confuse this with type 2. A type 2 is probably the one who should avoid fruit because they more than often don't take insulin and just control their diabetes with diet so their blood sugar is going to rise with the fructose found in fruit. I take insulin and so anything I eat, fruit and any sugar included, is covered. I actually sometimes go days with eating nothing but fruit, and I feel great when I do this.
Banana, avocado, cherries blueberries, cantaloupe..mmm canteloupe and watermelon are so good on a hot day. Apples are good too I don't really care for oranges or the more citrusy fruits
My ideal fruit salad would be Watermelon Cherries Black currents Kiwi fruit Pineapple Nectarine Passion fruit Green grapes Green apple
I like Panama Passionfruit. They're much larger than Passionfruit and much heavier due to much more pulp so they're a better bang for your buck. The downside is initially they do taste a bit more bitter than a regular Passionfruit but once you pass that they're great.
I'm cuckoo for fruit. I'd like to get into the import export game in fruit, because the laws are so tricky, there are like no players but the big ones, and there are so many delicious fruits in the tropics you can't even get in the states. Durian and Guananbana, Yum! Fun fact, the banana we eat today, isn't the banana our grandparents ate growing up. That was the Gros Michel banana which was supposed to be pretty delicious. They all got wiped out in the 50's due to the dangers of monoculture, they weren't able to defend themselves against whatever banana disease.
