Trojans are hard to deal with,Glen...worser are rootkits..
it needs a good virus scanner and spyware detection tools..
I've always managed to get rid of any malware on my P.C by myself...:)
one has to experience a little bit with different browsers, virus scanners...
for the moment I use Antivir Premium as a virus detector..not bad..

I'm running Firefox. And I have a problem with it. I get no audio on Firefox. If I want to watch a Youtube video or whatever, I can only get audio with Internet Explorer. What could be causing this?

The browsers I normally use are IE9 and google chrome/chromium. They are the two best browsers in my opinion and I have no particular preference to either.

There aren't really any "bad" browsers nowadays though - they all seem to be playing the game, although I do wonder if firefox memory issues will ever go away. Last time I used opera (v 8 or 9) it was also a memory leaker too.

i have used Firefox for years, it is ideal for me due to add-ons and ability to customise the user interface. my add-ons are: mail checker, quick window size changer, adblock, ability to open new tab with double-click, default page zoom.

I've tried Firefox and Chrome in recent years, but I always go back to Safari. It just works better.

IE and Safari are two browsers I try my best to avoid. I see Microsoft actually advertising IE on TV. They must be getting desperate. I used IE exactly one time on my OS, and that was to download firefox.

Chrome has locked up a few times when opening new tabs on some sites. That might be my OS, not sure, not a biggy.

God damn application toolbars are the worst! I don't want any of those stupid ass bars on my browser. Gotta always look out for those dirty sneaky check boxes!

Firefox usually, but Chrome's good too. So far the add-ons are just better for Firefox.
