I used to have a waterbed but it never made the journey from Australia back to Germany and the last I heard of it, one of my sisters had taken it.

So now we have a pretty ordinary looking queen sized bed, nothing fancy, no back board just a mattress floating on its tabletop. We generally have like 5-6 pillows we use, or throw around, or kick... and boot out of the bed at some stage while asleep. :)

    What's your bed like?

Oh noooo, not a futon. They're the most uncomfortable things I've had the displeasure of sleeping on. :bigcry:

Well....this is kind of odd but here is a pic of my bed. I just happened to have it on my computer because I took a pic of the doors after I built them. That bed might be my favorite place in the world.

well, it's like a mattress on a box spring on a frame, i guess. it's bigger than a twin bed but smaller than a queen; is that called a double?

it comes with 2 pillows, some sheets, and a varying number of blankets depending on the time of year.

futons aren't ideal, but i've definitely slept on worse. i think gravel probably takes the most uncomfortable award.

:daisy: sowwwwy. I can sleep in a chair though. Mostly I can get quite comfortable in the most bizarre places just the one week I had to sleep on a futon at a friends apartment... my back... and her partner at the time told me it was really bad for his back too. Probably just a cheap one anyway, like it was a tiny sofa that laid out into a tiny bed.

I've never slept on the earth before, like with rocks and gravel.... I'd go find grass before I had to sleep on that. When I camp my cocoon swag has a thin mattress and I always have a sore back and body ache when I camp. We bought some yoga mats lately to use but we haven't tried them out just yet.

when i slept on gravel it was during a very drunken camping trip, and finding anything more comfortable would have probably been at least a half mile walk.

i've thought a little more though, and i think even worse than that is sleeping in the backseat of a car. at least on gravel you can straighten your legs.

One thing I am very good at is sleeping. I can sleep almost anywhere. Gravel, couch, deck, camp fire? No problem. I can sleep in my car and it only takes me about less than one minute to go to sleep. I can't even count how many high school classes I slept through. I even drooled on the desk plenty of times because I got that far asleep during one class!

    I count it as a talent. :)

Wow, your bed looks cozy, just the kind of place a gal could curl up with a book for the better part of a day.

My bed is very high. The top of the mattress comes up to m waste when I stand next to it. It has 4 deep drawers underneath it, two on each side, for storage. It is incredibly comfortable, firm, yet soft at the same time. When I lay in it, because it is so high, I can look out the window at the ocean.

I would love a bed with underneath storage. Though, toy chest is good too. But for linen and what nots, be great.

It comes in very handy, especially considering we live in a shoebox. Two of the drawers are for costumes and dress up pieces, one is full of my summer clothing (skirts, bikinis, hats, dresses) and the fourth has all my crafting stuff. I honestly don't know what we'd do without that storage.

I've never thought of keeping linens in one of the drawers though. That's not a bad idea, frankly. I'll have to remember that the next time i do some reorganizing.

Okay. Here she is. In her boring attire. Normally I have animals prints as the covers etc. but this is a in between wash attire. We only sleep under the blanket so we don't make the bed or anything hehe.

Our bed is totally cozy. In fact, our bed is so cozy that sometimes I don't even want to have sex in the morning (which is our prime time). I mean...yeah...I'm down with the sex but I'm a very "touch" oriented person so I love to touch her and rub my face on her body and massage her and lick her. Just laying in bed with her that way is kind of a big deal to me. She is so sexy in her natural state.
