i got into the bios, (finally) and it failed the start up test, and run in test. the short DST is what failed. i don,t know what it means? any of you?

 

Looks like that's the hard drive that has failed or is about to...

don't know why there are two portals, but whatever.

might be a free or cheap fix if still under warranty

the good news is that the hard drive can easily be replaced and the whole computer isn't screwed.

oh yeah, for future reference you can just put the error message or whatever, in this case "short DST" into google.
