whats up with this?

I thought EVERYWHERE in the u.s.a. u had to be 18 to purchase anything smoking related, except lighters, because u can use those for other things. But papers and pipes, definately 18. and just because its a festival u shouldnt expect them to illegaly sell things to u, just be happy to have even gotten that close to them. Its illegal for anybody under 18 to even step foot in a real headshop.

 

In NY you have to be 16 to be in a "novelty shop" and 18 to buy a lighter and smoking paraphenalia. You can buy matches, but not lighters. But a lot of stores aren't that strict with just buying a lighter.

I never could when I was 17 but as soon a I turned 18, I wasn't even ID'd anymore.

 

and every state is different. For instance, Mass. no headshops are allowed anywhere. Glass pipes are totally illegal.

 

Are you saying you have to be 16 to buy lighters in a novelty shop, or actually get into a novelty shop? We have two shops a block away from each other and neither has that rule.

 

is marthas vineyard different? cause i lived there for a year and there was a store that sold glass, but it wasnt displayed so maybe it is, but i think they wouldve gotten busted my now, but then again i dont know what im talking about

 

unless you have someone 18 with you, all the vegas headshops let me in cuz i was with my older brother and his friend

 

Bullshit. I live in Massachusetts and there are at least 5 headshops in my town alone and they all sell glass pipes.

 

i thought it was PA that wasnt allowed to sell glasswares?
