you've got to wonder what's going on with politicians as a whole when they somehow think that war is alright, irrigardless of which side ur on. besides, i didn't vote for the guy. fucking conservatives.
I agree wholeheartedly. It seems the Liberal and Conservative parties are the only two parties anyone knows/cares about. If Canada wanted a real change (for the better), they should have voted for the NDP.
No one will vote NDP in the west or way east really , it's all about big business, and tax breaks, NDP caused some major deficit in the 80's or whatever.....ahhh they're all crooks!!!!
Socratez, I think you've got it in a lot of ways. I definetly agree with you... I might like the comedy of a national identity, and that it can be fun, but really, this place is just a piece of land that I live on. I don't know about Afghanistan, if we should be there or not - I don't think we should be so arrogant as to feel we have the right way of life, but I'm also not thinking we should isolate ourselves. It's a tough balance... like everything that matters... But someone makes a decision somewhere, and people will always be upset about that decision, and somehow it always ends up that people are killed and die and are tortured all over the world no matter what decision we make. Government seems to be a rather big steaming pile of poo.
