to ohio... um, i guess it was about 6 hours to the place in ohio i was going. and that's without getting gas or anything. ive driven longer distances... but that was without stopping at all.
when we travel my friend Zenia will stay up for DAYS and drive... I'm not kidding.... Before I was traveling with her she stayed up 4 straight days and drove from Miami FL to Cali. She eventually went sleep crazy/paranoid and fell asleep lol. Once she drove us from flordia(early morning) to Alabama(early morning the next day) with stops only for gas and no sleep. Went to sleep for two hours after that then woke up and drove us to texas. LMAO
I can't stand not stopping, I wanted to see death valley at a particular time of day that's why I went that long but I get fidgity if I go longer than a few hours adn have a history of grabbing the wheel and veering of the road if my request to stop is not honored. yep
18 Hours once, was the longest I've driven without stopping. I was driving down 81 and all the rest stops were tiny and empty so I was too afraid to stop and sleep since I was alone. I just kept the music loud and the bowl packed and that's what got me through without falling asleep. I was struggling toward the end there though.
probably 5 or 6 hours before i had to stop for gas. when i'm on a road trip, i like to cover ground and usually only stop the car when i need gas or a catnap. i was driving across canada by myself one time, and ended up picking up a hitchhiker to help with the driving so that i could get where i was going without having to stop for sleep. i'm a little crazy like that.
i drove from miami, FL to the NC/SC border without taking a real break. gas breaks were definitely needed by then.
About 5 hours. I wanted to take a break but I had to go as fast as I could because I had to get to a Beck concert on time.
