Considering you don't have any immediate obligations for the day, what do you like to do right after you get up?

Obviously when I wake up the first thing I do is go to the bathroom if necessary. Then I usually immediately make some BP coffee, have a spliff, then log on to the internet. To me that is the start to an ideal day.

I actually just woke up within the last half hour. I went to bed around 3am and woke up around 1:30pm, since I have to work tonight and will be up through tomorrow morning.

Take out the 'if necessary' of that scenario and that's pretty much my mornings.

The first thing I do every morning (including Saturday and Sunday) is drive to the clinic I attend and receive my daily dose of Methadone; on the weekend this means that I am back at home by 07:00 (I leave my house at 06:30, and on weekedays I leave at 05:55) and I have on average two - three hours to relax and study my history books before the rest of my family wakes up. Those two - three hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings are the only time I get to spend alone each week in total silence, and most of the city is not yet awake at that hour, so I am able to sit out front at dawn and smoke my cigarettes, drink coffee and transport myself to ancient Greece or Rome by those most cherished ancient authors. Indeed, those are my most happy self indulgent moments, and once the children and Aura wake up, although I still read periodically, I get excited to have breakfast with them and listen to what they have to tell me (usually dreams they had during the night, or a video game they are playing).

Bathroom, turn the coffee maker on, take the dog for a walk, drink my coffee while reading the news online or listening to the radio.

I also like to make some coffee at first. Which I consume with some bread... don't hit me :p I rarely smoke weed in the mornings though, it sounds ideal but usually I have a thing or 2 to do and then it is just better to light one up later in the day. I figured this out after heavy experimenting

I get up from my floor and sit crossed legged (I sleep on the floor on a yoga Matt with blanket) then do my usual stretch routine. After, get up and have nice glass of water. Then I like to opens the curtains, let the beautiful light in and just relax for the next half hour . I meditate or listen to good music :) that's ideal for me.

Make a macchiato coffee, my fave in the morning, relax in the sunroom and enjoy the morning, sept in the winter months, I hate looking at snow, but at least it's a short winter and we don't get a lot.
That's about it till I start my day.
