Congrats... Tough battle these days... Been there, done that.

I just hope that it lasts, if the Romney/Ryan crew gets elected I don't know what to expect.

 

My car decided to take a giant dump on the chest of life (transmission died), but that means we get to borrow a much newer, much nicer Dodge Neon with air conditioning and pretty interior until we can get a vehicle of our own. Waha!

 

The dog had me up at 5 this morning and I felt like shit...nose running, tightness in the chest, all the makings for a perfect autumn cold.

So, after taking him out, I came into the livingroom to snuggle up on the couch and watch the news. I was freezing since it was in the 40s here this morning.

The puppy crawled up onto the couch with me and snuggled right up against me and we both fell asleep for a little while...it was so nice! He was like my own personal space heater.

We weren't letting him on the furniture for the longest time, but I think that's changed now that I know how useful he will be in the winter

 

Just got news that they will sell us the Neon for $500! It's worth waaaay more than that, so we're getting a freaking amazing deal. I'm so happy. lol

 

FINALLY sold my fucking house! Full price, cash offer!

 

found some parts today that i need ...local ....for half price of what the dealer wanted and half price of what ebay sellers wanted

 

I got to catch up on some much needed sleep.

Well, it didn't happen to me personally, but the girl from work who was nine months pregnant (and only working out of necessity) had a healthy baby boy this evening two hours after she got off work. I'm demanding that girl gets one hell of a raise, working all day in labor. I was worried about her all day, but she was stubborn and refused to go home until it was for sure time. But like she said, what was she going to do all day? Sit in a hospital bed eating ice chips and not make any money doing that? lol

 

That's hardcore...

 

She is the hardest worker and most hardcore person I have ever met now. Now the rule at work is "You don't get to go home sick unless you have fluids or people coming out of one or both ends." lol

 

Got a $20 tip for a hug.

 

Nothing too special. My love took me out to lunch before work today and it was nice being out with him.

I had the worst headache yesterday on my only day off. All I thought about was "Sure wish this would go away".

I woke up and it's gone so in relation to yesterday going back to normality has been a good thing.

First job in 3 years, i've started to feel hopeless.
It's awesome so far, the managers are soo laid back.
My best friend works there too
And they email my schedule to me which is amazingly convenient!!
I really hope i make it past the first 3 months.
