hey guys. i was just wondering what has been the coldest temperature you've ever been out in. the coldest for me has been -40 f. that was pretty damned cold. so how 'bout you guys?
Either when I was somewhere in the mountains of Colorado or when I was in Santa Fe, either way it was probably about 10 F or maybe 5 F... not that cold I guess.
55 degrees, coldest damn day in southern cali, schools closed down due to three inches of rain...cant wait for the next el nino
I don't like really cold or really hot, although I'd prefer cold. But that's why I live on the ocean, the temperature doesnt' really change that much, it's very mild.
You are so right, I always forget how wonderful it is while I'm there and it's only when I leave that I appreciate it.
0 degrees, -30 windchill. 6:30 AM, at my bus stop, Indianapolis, Indiana. Back in January of 2003, I believe. Thank God I'm not in school anymore.
About -40, but with the wind chill it felt like -65(F). It was so cold we had to cover our mouths and nose so we weren't breathing the cold air directly. I was living in Vermont that winter. I still love Vermont best, though.
I've been in some pretty cold temps hitchhiking. I'm not sure exactly how cold but I've fallen asleep at least once not expecting to wake up.
i was in Smugglers Notch which is in Vermont doing some mountain training. Was out there for 1 week. Coldeest day was -40, but at night it got to below -60. We did one night training, but that night was relatively warm so it wasn't bad.
It was -30 celcius in the middle of a blizzard.......... the day i was born. ( no, Birdy, i was not born in the blizzard, I was born in an hospital)
Quote/0 degrees, -30 windchill. 6:30 AM, at my bus stop, Indianapolis, Indiana. Back in January of 2003, I believe. Quote/30F. I think it was about that with the windchill in Michigan minus 30 bus stop, 6.30 am Ohio, frozen hair from the recent shower and frozen nose
Mount Mansfield -34 F (actual) - windchill -80, lets just say I made 1 run that day. There was 2 feet of the driest powder the east has probably ever seen and it was epic for about a 100 yards until the combination of the cold and the snow delivered screaming pain.
