i used to be a big hip hop head back when i was younger. but, things have gotten ridiculous lately with pretty much every type of mainstream music these days.
i can't even remember the last time i bought a rap album, probably the last Common album.
but as far as underground

just like with everything else, there is good stuff and there are bad stuff. i like hip-hop better than rap, and yes there is a difference between both styles. on TV and radio you cannot really hear and listen to nice, quality rap or hip-hop or whatever. it is all comercial shit the good stuff are mainly underground or oldschool. thats the truth.
