what is this "headband" slang that suddenly everyone is using. it's as annoying as the 'kush' slang lol. "kush" used to mean a specific strain or group of strains, now every two bit dealer sells "kush" and its just the new word for "dank"..

 

If my memory serves me right, headband is a legit strain that originated in texas. From what I've heard it's highly sought after.

I'm curious how they choose the names in some cases. Would headband just be chosen random out of a dictionary or would it have a legit background story to it

 

i read somewhere that it was because when you smoke it, you feel like a headband has been tightened around your head - probably bullshit though, haha.

Sorry about the delay in responding, Pork. I don't visit HP nearly as often as I would like... You guys are a very down-to-earth gang, so I should drop by more frequently.

The answer to your first question is "yes", I do bio-assay the materials two to eight times each (but usually three or four) as part of my evaluations. This is actually pretty arduous... we're talking four to six bio-assays per month. Trials with NBOMe compounds are less frequent, however, because tolerance buildup with those is extreme -- one should wait a good couple of weeks between trials involving NBOMe/NBOMe or NBOMe/any non-NBOMe 5-HT2 receptor agonist and/or serotonin releaser.

Regarding 4-subs, the answer is also "yes", except for 4-MeO-MiPT. I'm looking forward to it though, as this is in essence a powerful aphrodisiac similar to 4-AcO-DiPT minus the already relatively mild visuals -- clearly psychedelic, extremely horny, but no visuals. It must be rather odd and unique, if not necessarily my cup of tea. I bet that it's pleasurable though and must have its use under certain circumstances.

4-AcO-DPT... It's a beautiful compound, but it should never be used orally because bio-availability via this ROA is sorely lacking. Rather, this is one of the very few hallucinogens where insufflation is far better than oral ingestion. The same applies to 4-HO-DPT, although I haven't bio-assayed that one yet. I probably will next year though.

BTW, I have not yet bio-assayed all of the compounds on the "stash" list I posted -- that will take some time -- but I've tested about a third of them. The "worst" part is that I'll be receiving 15-20 more synthetic psychedelic compounds over the next year. I sometimes don't know if I should jump with joy or cry...

oh man, i had a bunch of kief one time (actual kief, not from a grinder which is a lot of plant matter dust in addition to trichomes) and NO bud, no connection. so i was doing bong hits of straight kief, and it got me stupidly high. i would get was too fuckin high for an hour or two, and then get super burned out and usually fall asleep. anyways, not the best way to smoke kief

A bunch of pills which I have no idea what they are, an old vendor used to send me all kinds of RX pills as a "bonus" although I really don't mess with them and I told him but he kept sending them. Part of that is about 15 10 mg Valium, the only ones I could ID. I think the others are some kind of arthritis med. But he also sent me some free DMT once too so it works out.
