Well time to get everything ready to serve the 800 today. I'm off to wash dishes, bake beans, ham, corn, move shit just to put it back later, oh & escort an ol' cat to get mucho ice.

Thinking of any of you who are having a difficult time during the holidays. It's almost over, hang in there.

I've been up since 6 am. I got a little drunk last night too and am not hungover at all today, it's a Christmas miracle.

I was thinking of people who might be in jail for Christmas. I have this ex who ended up in jail last year for something dumb she did. In any case I couldn't help but wonder if she might be locked up and was feeling a little sorry for her if she was. We're not on speaking terms at all nor would I want to be but I still feel for her if she were in jail.

 

Water not working this morning. This is almost like a family tradition, something goes wrong plumbing-wise during the holidays. So, instead of jollyness and whatnot I will be working on the well mechanism this beautiful day.
