What's Happening???

That is pretty close to what it looks like too lol.
I cleaned up pretty well, I also got a bottle of red wine and a box of chocolates.

The best thing was there's always a guy we drink with who ruins raffles because we all put in like 5€ and he comes along with 50€ and buys a whole ticket bunch and wins everything. He's alright with it he usually gives most of the stuff away like hams, so to get in there and beat him with my 5€ ticket felt good, not going to lie. the guy has also stopped playing me in pool as he no longer can beat me. we used to have really good matches a few years ago, but now that I play regular and well he has no chance.

So that was pretty much a knock off celebration on the Friday before Xmas where lots of farmers etc are done for the year so that's I was out with my uncles and so on. I was home by midday, then I remember eating and then I remember being really tired and then I remember I slept, it was dark all of a sudden I got up, was not feeling well, went to bed now I'm up, had a coffee.. I'm feeling alright.

It is hard to watch friends suffer

 

Woah... I am not feeling good this afternoon after drinking last night. I was alright this morning but I feel really on edge now. It's not even like a hangover, more like withdrawal.

There was a car accident right in front of me on the freeway, it's been better since then

 

What a week! Sadly, I saw a squirrel get hit and killed by a car a few mornings ago. Winter just started. We had 2.3 inches (5.84 cm) of rain today. It got up to 63 F/17 C, thanks to very strong SSE winds, especially up until mid-day.

@Deidre : No library or one of my usual eateries today. The intense rain and high wind destroyed my lone larger umbrella in two stages. I have a smaller spare that's usable, but not quite 100% either.

 

Definitely the rear person's fault, we're going like 15 mph in traffic on the freeway and they just kept going into the other person's car. Lil bit of smoke came out the sides of the trailing car but didn't seem too bad.

First time I've been directly behind the scene of an accident though, I didn't really know what to do, so I just threw on my hazards.

 

plugged in my string of green mini-lights for solstice.
haven't done much else, but the day isn't over.

 

Traffic was congested, they weren't tailgating, just didn't stop.

 

Just finished a movie, and going to bed soon. We're visiting some friends tomorrow who live a few hours away so an early start to our day. So happy to be on vacation now!

interesting.. seen a person smash into the back of a garbage truck the other day on the highway,, car ran out of space,, but not a shatter crash .. just an oh shit.
