I'm probably going to take a break from the ol' hipforums soon for this reason. This place is far too distracting and I need to write

 

I’m settling into this new job (not so new anymore) and love my husband. It’s unusual for me to not be bored in a relationship by now. If you’re reading this bae, I love you. (He reads HF sometimes)

Fight with bae. Its all good though, the saving grace in our relationship is that neither of us can stay mad longer than 5 minutes. He texted an apology by 10 this morning and I had already forgotten about it by then

 

lol I would sooo love it if he joined here. I have been asking him to, and hopefully he will. I think he feels that this is my thing, and he doesn't want to intrude. He's sooo sweet, I love him to pieces. I'm glad you and your bae are doing well. <3

When I was a kid, I loved Pippi Longstocking so much and I was so sad when I finished the book, that I entertained the idea of just continuing the story, and writing more myself.
And I did, I wrote two chapters before I gave up.

It is distracting but a good kind of distraction, most days. Lol

 

I was just thinking...
Damn, I am going to be sad if one day I have a kid and he/she doesn't enjoy reading.
There are some wonderful children's books out there, they have given me so much magic. And I am kinda looking forward to rereading them with the kid.
But I am rushing, for I am not with child!

Anyways, at the beginning of summer vacation, I would always stock up on books before we went anywhere.
And I'm glad I did.

 

I've tried the same to dedicate to Computer Programming. It's quite difficult. Although I've got better at balancing HF and programming recently.

 

Primarily because I found a library which filters Hipforums as Pornography and doesn't allow access.

 

Well another day half done. Not sure what the afternoon will bring but I suppose it'll be interesting at least.

I always let HF distract me but I rarely have anything better to do anyway

 

My son just learned to read and he loves it and reads every night when he gets in bed, just like his mama

I think if you expose them to books as early as possible they'll develop a love for it. My mom read to me every night until I learned to read myself and it immediately became my biggest love when I learned to read myself. And i've always read to my son and now he loves it

I also have been reading poetry to him the last couple of years, not enough people have an appreciation for poetry. I know he cant understand the meaning yet but I want him to have a love for the sound of the words

But yeah I feel ya, i probably would be devastated if he didnt love reading to be honest lol

It is so nice outside.

I've been popping in and out as I've gone about my day.

I got the grocery shopping done and I need to go finish preparing dinner because we're not getting home from sitting with the kids until 6:30 or 6:45ish and that's so late to start cooking anything involved.

 

We both just need a set time where HF isn't allowed. Like "do not disturb" time setting on a phone. It's easier to not do something if you know you can do it later. Maybe that would work.

I am the same. To be with someone over two years and still get the butterflies-i-fancy-you feeling is completely new to me.

When I have got it turned into a real book, I shall definitely make it known.

 

Went for a big drive this afternoon down a dirt road I've never been through before. I always get a little anxious because I don't have a winch yet but it was easy. pretty slushy with mud so my truck looks all tough at the moment.

 

One of my friends also somehow scored a box usb charging stations so he gave me 6. So they look like a phone and you charge them up then can charge anything with a usb port, so phone, vape, earbuds or anything.

It'll revolutionise the way I camp.

 

I'm so glad that I prepped dinner.

I just got it in the oven at 7:15.

My daughter's last patient didn't leave until 6:30 this evening.

 

Does she cut hair?
