It just always hits hard for a few minutes when I realize that it's been another year.

We lost my sister a few years ago. There's something about the years passing that always gets to me, like, I'll think of her at other times, but it's when it's been another year that it kind of seems unfair again. And I feel like to many others it's stopped being important, whilst to me it will always be important.

 

Bumped my head on the luggage rack on the train. Now I have one of those headaches that just nag but aren't bad but should be gone and its not.

Going to a church event tonight for Christmas. Hubby is going, reluctantly. It’s not going to be preachy, more like a concert of holiday songs.

 

I'm so tender-hearted.

I cried because I saw a video from the prayer circle for the officer that was shot in the face yesterday. He's still in critical condition.

It made me cry when they called the LEOs into the middle of the circle, laid hands on them, and prayed for their protection.

 

^ I hope he makes it and fully recovers :/

The police and people are so on edge. Today, a whole Walmart was evacuated because there was a guy in there fussing at the manager due to the flag not being at half-staff. People heard him raising his voice and were afraid he might have a gun and go crazy so lots of them started calling 911. The story got twisted to them saying he did have a gun and police came to evacuate the whole Walmart Superstore.
