A beautiful, yet unseasonably warm day outside. Not sure what I'm going to end up doing. I should work out, should do laundry, but going shopping sounds more appealing.

 

Do you take this driftwood home with you, or...?

 

Yep. I burn "inspiring word" type things onto them with a pyrography machine, wax them, glue a magnet on the back and sell them for £2-50

I've been doing it a while before last year with stuff I find here, but the driftwood collecting there is so much better.

Ah so you're responsible for those inspirational wooden words housewifes seem to buy en masse and hang on their wall/place in front of their window, annoying and alienating hard working men from their own livingroom :-D

 

Ha, actually I hate those.

Mine are SUPPOSED to be a kind of antidote to it. Instead of taking the piss out of people who exercise or the opposite gender I write things like "We are God" : P

And some more normal ones like "Life is Beautiful"

I think I have to do the opposite. My head is racing with last nights stuff.

I have to clean and put stuff in storage, put on some music, finish xmas list, get closer to finishing a poem, play with the girls do smiling and laughing.

Do you have an Etsy shop?

 

No. I have been wanting to get to the online selling thing. My boss lets me sell them in the shop where I work. With the online stuff, I don't have enough knowledge about how to promote it or get traffic.

 

With Etsy it is so simple. You just need photos of your stuff and a PayPal account or something to receive the money. You should check it out.

 

The Tortie kitten moved itself since we've been up today. I hope it's going to be okay.
