What's Happening???

So I keep a bottle of whisky in my room. I like a few fingers now and again. Since I had to bust the lock on the door my HouseMouse Patrick has taken to sneaking in and helping himself to the whisky. I got back from the pub last night and really fancied a tipple. Lo and behold the bottle was empty. I lost it with him said, do you really think I'm so stupid I wouldn't notice, are you nuts. Anyway it's like living with a child. I look after him and I love the guy but he really is your archetypal thick paddy. Oh yeah I kind of live in an asylum and without me it wouldn't function. I'm responsible here.

I intend to go door knocking with my local MP on Saturday. His name believe it or not is Bambos Charalambous. We're going to discuss policing in my borough, which is in the top three problematic areas in London for violent crime. Constituents have been violently attacked just going about their everyday business, and there have been numerous violent break-ins. People have been left traumatized. Because police numbers have been cut and the thugs see this as a green light to offend. There are no police on the streets generally.

This isn't politics. It's what's happening in my local area.

 

Also austerity is creating a bad atmosphere.

 

This sounds like how we went about meeting with a police officer before we set up our neighborhood watch group.

 

I've always been strange.

When I was a girl, I made a paper ladies Pilgram hat, borrowed Mom's white apron, put on a maxi-dress & and chucka boots and wore it for Thanksgiving. I'd made turkeys from pine cones and a place card for each spot at the table.

No wonder my brothers always looked at me like they still wanted to pat me on the head even when I was grown.

I have no appetite this morning. I find this very worrying in light of upcoming festivities

 

I'm having no patience for hubby's crap this morning and besides being Thanksgiving, it's also his birthday.

 

Most recently, he pissed me off by telling me some misinformation that he gave my 16 year old granddaughter about pregnancy and birth control. What the actual fuck does he think he knows about the subject?

 

I've decided that I will help clean up after Thanksgiving. I think I've realized that the girls are always the ones to clean up, so this year I will do my part.
