I took flowers to my dad's grave today for veterans day. Then my brother took me to the grave of someone who was in my dad's unit and died in Vietnam. And since the last time my brother had visited, his parents graves were added to the grave site. They just died within the last few years and lived all those years without their son. It was really sad and humbling.
