What's Happening???

Old Graterford had prison walls where were could paint our own cells. This was our wall^ .. our floor around the toilet had a descending, block painting where it looked like it was falling inward with hand claws holding it up like the pit of hell. It was probably protected by others as other cells with design paintings were. There will be a day when tours of the old prison will blow peoples minds with the art works in the cells and details taken to make them home.

 

Cool...

Going more for a restaurant look. This is the area with the built in kitchen table with benches. It's always looked like something out of a 50's roadhouse... Gonna push that idea.

It was a boring wall to begin with that someone covered with plywood because the plaster was cracked in a few places. In the original house design there was a window on that wall that looked out into the breezeway. That was blocked off when the breezeway became two additional rooms. So this wall was never "right" to begin with... Gonna make it interesting. Kind of a focal point that's different from the rest of the kitchen.

 

The very first time I made lasagna, when I was first out on my own, I used 6 bulbs of garlic instead of six cloves. Made myself sick.

 

Once when I was making sauce for lasagna the top of the red pepper container came off as I was sprinkling and a couple of tablespoons worth of red pepper flakes went all up in my red sauce. I decided to roll with it but that was some spicy lasagna. I forced myself to finish a piece because, lasagna. But it was pretty inedible

no red sauce fan, pizza yeah but if its to thick with red, I scrape it off

 

i dunno if i ever made something not eatable.
except gluten free bread. which actually tasted alright
but it fell apart.

 

That's because there was no glu in it...

I want to make an old fashioned Buttermilk Pound Cake. My grandmother use to make it. She always said the ugliest cakes taste the best.

For a change, I'm going out dancing.
Going to try my best at Rumba and the Hustle (push pull). Maybe learn a few new steps in the process. I didn't pick the venue, I was told by my instructors a time and place.

The venue is in a awkward location so it will be an interesting night from 830pm to close or me sweaty and tired.....

Either way I'm getting out of the house and have some drinks n fun.

Time to get ready.......

 

For some reason, this got me thinking about what Hipforums would look like on a projector screen or something. I'd probably just end up looking at the Butt Thread most of the time.

 

I had that happen more than once. I've since learned to shake out dried herbs and whatnot into measuring cups instead of directly into what I'm cooking.

Or I could just stop buying spices from the Dollar Store.

 

I cast to big flat screen sometimes. lots of times the smaller the screen the better compressed it is, as some pictures and videos cast there dont look so great the closer you are, If i split the screen it gets a lot better. for instance my hipforums galaxy video, its hard to read on the large set but fine on a lap top.. i dont know why tho. it shouldnt . there was also a norm mcdonalds videos that would get big and small almost to the point you cant see it. yet fine on phone, and lap top monitor. the flat screen should act as a monitor without distortion..

 

The sky to the NW is aglow from the fires. As it darkens the sky will glow more.

I often feel like that on HF.

Maybe that's why I stayed so long.
