They are often referred to as "America's Team" and every year their established fan base gets overly optimistic and think that they are poised for a SB run only to watch it fall apart by the team losing a bunch of close games and barely missing the playoffs or losing their first playoff game.

Apparently the screen in their stadium is so large that from what I hear, many people who go to their games end up watching the screen rather than the field.
