I washed many a load in the kitchen sinks.

The most important thing is rinsing more than once to get all the dirt and soap residue out.

Go light on the detergent and add some white vinegar if it's handy.

 

I never use those. Just use the squat method. Although that may get a little messy if you gotta poop.
