What's Happening???

Its no fun at all

Especially having to take time off your current job to go to interviews, and trying to come up with excuses when people ask why you came in late or left early or whatever

 

Yea, a guy on my team took a two hour lunch the other day, people were asking where he was. He was dressed up (not his usually business casual) lol so we figured he was on an interview.

But if you wait until after work, you’re tired from the day and I can’t see being at my best. Or looking my best, even. So, I stay and dream about leaving......

 

Its fun AND righteous

Updating CV is soulcrushing for some reason.
Europass made it somewhat easier, but still...

 

Today I’m thinking about calling a company I freelanced for a couple months ago to see if they have any openings for anything. My idea is to work a regular office job under the same roof as the design department I freelanced for, so I could further assist them if needed. Ideally it’d be nice just to get in that department full time, but i gotta be realistic and get my shoe in the door.

I’m nervous as heck though I don’t like being turned down.

 

I hate updating my CV!

 

I hope it works out! If not here, you’ll find something else. No one likes being turned down but maybe you won’t be.

 

CV is the abbreviation for Cover Letter, isn’t it?

Why isn’t it called a CL?

Had a Trial today, but Dunkin Doughnuts must have had a sale because the Officer Didn't show up!

Basically was just 2 months of stress and wasted gas, fuck the police!

 

What does that mean now? You have to wait for another to be scheduled?

Was this for some kind of traffic violation?

 

Yah he wrote me a really stupid traffic ticket, I don't know if it was an attempt to meet quota or what.

 

Been there, done that, dude. Not worth it.

I challenged a ticket once, "won," and didn't have to pay the fine, just the court costs...which ended up being more than the fine.

The house always wins...

 

I would just pay the ticket. lol I’ve had friends who fought theirs. But, it’s like...you know you were speeding.

 

Sometimes it's worth it if your state counts points against your license
