What's Happening???

I have a few family members with MS, and while it is definitely a serious diagnosis, it is also more manageable then ever, which is something.

 

Yes, certainly glad to be living in our current time. Years ago the prognosis was a bit more grim. Modern medicine is pretty impressive.

Still though...maybe it's my Catholic upbringing, but I'm still trying to figure out why me. Why is this happening? What did I do to deserve this? You know, all the searching-for-guilt questions

It's so hot, even the animals can't stand it

 

It's 92F here. I'm keeping the dogs in except for short outings.

Hubby and I are going to walk over to my son's house and let his dog out for a few minutes. I'll get the hose and water the plants on his porch while we're there.

Other than that, our butts are inside until after dark.

Tomorrow, I'll have to go to the grocery store. I wonder what time they open in the morning. I want to go before it gets super hot during the day.

My grandson did not go to Myrtle Beach with my daughter's estranged wife! Yay!!!

He and my daughter are going to Panama City Beach on Wednesday. That's where his father is.

I'm so happy about that!

My son, his wife, and the triplets did go to Myrtle Beach for their world series. He said one of the girls is "killing the ball", one he didn't mention, and the other hurt her thumb at practice last week so badly that she's probably not going to be able to play her catcher position while there.

The oldest granddaughter went to PCB with a friend and her family. I need some photo updates on her trip.

All's well with my little family.

Edit: Also, my niece is in Myrtle Beach.

It would be cool if my daughter and grandson could hook up with my granddaughter in Panama City Beach; and my son and the girls could hook up with his cousin at Myrtle Beach!

 

I want to move to Edinburgh, Scotland.

 

Why is that?

 

Because I need to run away. How romantic. And Edinburgh sounds nice. There were no stabbings there last year and accommodation is cheap.
