I'd have to flick channels sorry. :p that seems like an awful lot of torment and toil when the remote control is in a place that requires me to move. :D

The last time Japan played America in 2017, America won 2-1, so they ain't that bad. Plus there's suttle differences between American and Japanese baseball, even the ball is slightly different. Of course, Japan are forced to play American Baseball when they play giving them an obvious disadvantage.

Why I like baseball over cricket is that in cricket especially 5 day test matches the batsman often block and leave balls but you can't do this is baseball you're kind of forced to swing at the thing as hard as you can. :p

That's also why I prefer American football to other football is that they're forced to make big hits, big throws, big runs every play, or at least try, whereas rugby can be all about field position and kicking penalty goals and not all players play their hearts out every play because if you aren't getting the ball then you don't go 100% but in American football, 22 guys are giving 100%

Why I like NASCAR over any Motorsport is because though ovals seem boring, they actually promote the closest racing. In 2017 there was 760 over takes in the Formula 1 world championship over 20 races. In the 2017 Daytona 500 alone, there were 3700 recorded passes for position, and they're only counted at the start finish line.

I believe Americans concept better spectator sports. They're so much more colourful and energetic. The cheerleaders and the sponsors, the crowds are much more fun too but it's this "go 100% every play" that makes it so good.

I cam to my own conclusion that possibly Americans taught baseball to the Japanese after WW2 but that isn't the case, they've been playing it since the 1800s lol.

After some research, baseball was first played in America in 1862 and the first game played in Japan was 1872. So a decade later. :)

^found out about this coding club for kids around here, I want to get my son involved because I think his little mind will eat it up, and then he can turn around and teach me because I havent the slightest clue about coding at all. It will make me feel dumb and hopefully a little smarter all at once

And I know so much about dinosaurs now because of him. So much. When he first got into dinosaurs I thought he was making some of the names up because I had never heard of them but nope, he schooled me on them.

This is a good resource for kids to code with. It lays the foundation of many coding concepts with draggable blocks and it's easy to draw/add images and such, even can add music or audio files as well.
