Elephants definitely have more developed musical appreciation than three year olds. I can tell I'm going to be watching quite a few videos of elephants listening to music tonight.

They definitely have some amazing abilities for abstraction, probably the most complex of any quadreped animals I've seen.

 

^ Although it is my understanding, having elephants paint like that is not attained by the most respectful of training.

 

I'd just started watching that and was wondering if it was down to training. It makes it less interesting to me anyway, and if the animals are badly treated I'm completely against the idea.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather.
A friend of mine brought food, and now we're watching Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, for reasons of nostalgia.

Damn, I don't like hearing Latin in this context.

 

I don't think training is necessarily bad but if it involves cruel treatment, than I agree. Some brief research from an article suggests that to get elephants to paint like that with defined figures, does involve some bad treatment. However some orginzations encourage more naturalistic elephant paintings, from what I've seen from those paintings, they are more abstract.



I'm sure humane standards vary drastically between places but it would be good to get ethics commitees to post their training practices for animal shows.

 

Just sat down in a restaurant waiting area and knocked over a guys soda. He had it hidden though, he knew it wasn't my fault.

 

Free at last. Work is over, and had a pretty good workout.

 

I had a huge day. I mean huge and it's a miracle I actually pulled out of it okay because I had a lot of fun today and managed to down like 5 or 6 beers in the first hour but you know I'm a smart cookie too so I mix with water after than hour and then steadily kicked on all day. My miss and I found ourselves making out on a cold lawn bowls field and we got chased away by the greens keep who wasn't happy with us lol. That was well after the charity though we played the lawn bowls it's pretty fun. Some stooge bought their own lawn bowls and so we all teased him lol.

But I liked mine the best

My wife laughed because she knows I'm stirring the pot because it's exactly what I would have done. Lol.

And the we tried to go out someone for dinner but with my miss diet she just couldn't find anywhere she could really eat that was close by. so we went home and I made some grilled veges and chicken again. I'm absolutely starving right now.

I know it's only been 5 days but I can clearly see and feel that I have lost weight, in the mirror and the fact I can now use my last belt hole. I almost said to her its okay if you have one MacDonald meal... But I didn't. That wouldn't selfish of me.

 

Decided to go with Denver Bronco Orange for my car.
