Drinking the last of my Sam Adam's utopia. Might have one shot left in the bottle. Hard to tell because it's not a clear bottle.

Good stuff, glad I got it now even if it's way overpriced for what it is.

Think I will save that last shot for the next time I come down to delmarva.

I have an external hard drive for just that purpose. Of course you need a PC to do all the work but all the content stays on the drive so it doesn't have to mess with my computer.

Yeah that's what a friend suggested.. But I like the idea of having music all set up to play easily without any plugging in. It's probably the best idea though, and what I'll do.

Same here. Got such a large mp3 collection it didn't fit on my computer harddrive. So i got an external one. Still use the collection a lot but rarely download or rip anymore. I used Soulseek a lot (free peer to peer download program like Napster used to be)

That's no biggie. You just have to leave the laptop alone :p Or buy a cheap pc that you hook up to your sound system. PC moves less often than a laptop i bet :D

    Cheap and small! Maybe so...

What I really want doesn't exist.

Have you thought of an iPod with docking speakers. Bang and Olufsen used to do one. I don't know if that's what you're looking for. Do they still make iPods?

Yeah, something like that. But I also want to see it all on a screen. Maybe you can get it but it's probably expensive. I've never had an ipod but they probably still exist. I keep buying second hand cds because it's the cheapest way but nowhere to rip them too. The disc drive in my current laptop is broken.

Maybe all I need is a new laptop.

I guess an iPod wouldn't have enough storage space though.

New laptop/PC just for storage and ripping/listening music doesn't have to be that expensive :) Of course, if you don't have a monitor or can get one cheap/secondhanded a laptop seems the most economic choice

After my monitor broke down i hooked up my PC to my TV and went with that for years :) Winamp on your telly screen! :grinning: Not advised if you share your living room with someone who loves watching tv :p
