Last night was urgh

 

Ally goes into the bathtub when she's scared. (Lightning, thunder, fireworks, smoke detectors)

While she's in the tub she rapidly paws at the bottom by the drain as if trying to make the drain hole bigger .

The compression shirts I got for all 4 of them helps alot.

Life in general these days...Is strange. I keep hoping for things to get back to "normal."

 

Mine Was 12 Hours Of Solid Sleep......And Today Has Been A Most Constructive Spring Day......

I could have and should have slept more, considering it was only 2-4 hours for the whole week.

Today is the party for hubby's brother-in-law's 75th Birthday. This guy is incredibly young for his age. He's currently in chemo after having had surgery for his second time with Lung Cancer, but the first was 10 years ago and he's been healthy as a horse in between.

Hubby's nieces, great niece, and great great niece are in town for the event so he's super excited. They are from Charlotte, NC.

The weather will be gorgeous and perfect. The party is at a pavilion beside a beautiful lake. It's also beside a flag court where a brick is laid in honor of his service in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War.

There will be 60 people attending. Hubby will be grilling the hot dogs and his sister has BBQ being catered in.

I think there will be a professional grade karaoke set up, too.

His name is Charlie. I got a coffee mug made for him that says, "Charlie - The Man - The Myth - The Legend". His daughter is giving him a Super Man tee shirt to wear.

I almost forgot to mention that this is a Surprise Party! He doesn't know the nieces are here from out of town. He thinks his daughter is taking him fishing, lol. She's their only child who is here for the party. She is 29 years old, with purple hair, and has moved off to Portland, Oregon.

Charlie is just a simple guy, from a family of Moonshiners in North Georgia, who drove a truck all his life. He deserves a great party.

 

Irm doesn't wear bikinis. I will outdo Danica Patrick in laced corset and expensive white leggings with bows, thank you.
