Actually, you would have been notified that you were logged out and needed to log back in if you were part of the hack.

it's not so much the mental hamster running that I mind, it's the brain-wheel squeaking.

tosses some pork loin, tenderquick curing salt, brown sugar and old bay seasoning into a gallon ziplock, adds a bit of water, smushes out the air and into the fridge it goes - in a week.. loin bacon, ready for smoking.

I once experienced a similar thing. The attraction ride was like a big centrifuge. We were there with a class of kids. The kid you would have guessed in advance it could cause such a problem vomited like 2 litres during the ride. Everybody else in that thing got covered. It was hilarious for the outside viewer :-D

HAHAHAHA!!! This might be amusing to those of you who have ventured into the threads discussing Quantum Mechanics...

I fell asleep to this show on youtube where the host has a particular topic of science or philosophy he explores per episode and then he goes around asking academics about it. When I woke up youtube auto-play had a class lecture going for one of the people featured on that show, discussing the Observer Effect in QM, which suggests objects don't manifest in reality until they are "Observed" at the Quantum scale. Observation in this scientific context can be something as mundane as contact with an inanimate object.

However a disproportionate amount of people on this site, particularly those into magic and new age type stuff, ascribe to the notion that the Observer Effect implies that a Human Being has to actively be looking at something for it to manifest in reality. So I was kind of slowly waking up, listening to the lecture and he mentioned this mathematical principle abbreviated as "ESP" and that is not something ever brought up in those Observer Effect discussions on here, my initial thought was "We got off easy."

I don't believe in atoms. If something's smaller than say, the size of a grain of sand, I can't comprehend it. People study quantum mechanics but most of them can't explain how a light bulb works, how the the circumference of the Earth was first calculated, or how the first mirrors were formed. I'm happier with medieval and Renaissance science. I like solidity and permanence. Of course I'm partly just kidding. I'm always just kidding. Because people take life too seriously. They ascribe importance to the most trifling of problems and ignore the really serious ones. I change all the time like a chameleon so as to avoid becoming a self-parody. I just enjoy entertaining the infinite jest. Please exsqueeze me.

I worked today so now I'm just relaxing. I find I can work for an hour or so solid, then I need a break, then continue.
