Yea, jobs. I got married last May and we have worked at the same jobs for a few years. I’m ready for a change, we will see. I hate job hunting.

I am definitely ready to move on but I had to put a halt to the job hunt because I needed to use FMLA for my mom. I plan to resume my search soooon. I hate hate hate job hunting though

 

One of the jobs my son is interviewing for has a 3 day work week.

It would be Fri, Sat, and Sunday...I think; or Thurs, Fri, and Saturday.

 

This is way better than where he was several months back. He's in better spirits.

First of all, hope you didn't think I was trying to rub anything in. That wasn't my attention. Second, you're an awesome daughter.

And third...job hunting does suck. But at least when it's over it's over. Staying forever in a job you don't like goes on forever. When you get the chance to step away, you should take it. You don't sound happy with your job, and you are too good a person to not enjoy being happy at work.

Of course, that is easy for me to say when I don't have a sick mom or a child...so I guess I can't really begin to understand your situation, but we spend like half our lives at work. No sense in being unhappy half our lives.

While I'll never have my true dream job, I no longer dread going to work on the mornings. And that does wonders for my psyche, mood, and sanity.

 

Has nothing to do with water, which I drink plenty of. It's about contorting in the water while my feet are firmly dug into the sand. I just twisted awkwardly in my right knee. No biggie.

You wanna see a REAL injury, Google surfing accidents fin lacerations. Not after you've eaten of course...
