I want to thank everyone for their support and kind words, both here in the thread and also via PM.

A lot of you are praising me for being brave and strong. I'm not.

I'm scared shitless and severely depressed. I'm just putting up a front because that's what I do. And in terms of timing, this couldn't have happened at a worse time. I have too much to do in the next couple months to even process my feelings, let alone confront and deal with them.

I need a good cry, but for some reason, the tears just won't come.

I can relate to taking in bad news, and trying hard to mentally process it all.

I’m hoping the best for you in this condition, and continue to stay healthy regardless what happens.

It’s hard, but try as best as you can to fight the through your severe depression as well. Mental and physical health go together hand in hand.

 

You have no idea.

The diabetic neuropathy has him unable to feel his lower limbs and his upper limbs. They cause him severe pain from the inside but are numb from the outside.

He walks stooped over so I guess that's how he hit the door facing with the top of his shoulder.

 

Just found out my grandmother fell and broke her hip.

Looky here...We're back in the land of the living.

 

Just finished up with the chickens tonight. Fed, watered & eggs collected. One of em snuck off & laid in one of the big hay bales. Found 10 in there

 

My son tried two chickens. We enjoyed the eggs.

He put the coop too close to the dog pen and the chickens wouldn't stay out of his dog pen.

It didn't end well for the chickens.

 

If you want a cheap toy for cats get a box of drinking straws, the ones that bend at the end. They love those things.

 

Yeah we keep our farm dog Moose away from the cluckers for the most part. His food bowl is in the barn near their coop but all he does is run em off

Refreshed my memory on trimming goat hooves this evening. Haven't touched a hoof in nearly 13 years, not since I cared for horses

They also love pipe cleaners that you coil around your finger. We had a cat that would play fetch with those.
