I just got a ticket to see Richard Thompson play in October. Then I've got Hawkwind in November. I haven't been to a concert in three years. It'll be great.

 

They just opened a Lush a couple miles from me!

gonna have to do some weird rigging to my truck to make it last longer

gas tank strap was hanging and i changed them just a few years ago...this time the whole crossmember rotted away

Ever since I see that Saxon avatar I'm thinking, Saxon might actually work for camp music. Need more camp music!

I've got my go to music and albums but like, you don't want to be heard playing in more than once you know? That's embarrassing. But then, like, 20hrs for 10 days is a fair amount of non stop different music.

 

well that was an easy fix

they conveniently had a hole in the frame right where i needed it ....so now the strap has bolts on both ends instead of a bolt on one and a rotted tapered groove on the other

 

What material is actually rotting? Is your truck like, a Flintstones mobile? I'm not convinced ol' peanuts has the leg strength to keep that up lol.

I just can't think of anything that would rot? Unless like a hose. Does plastic rot?

but its an old truck (1990) and has gone thru many winters ...we use road salt here

i spray it last few years with chainsaw bar oil but the rotted part was hard to get to so i guess it didnt get enough oil

 

Screw this I'm hopeless I'm going on a rampant postathon. I did work today so I'm entitled to have some fun here. Sorry for over-thinking everything it's just an occupational hazard.

 

my truck is similar to this ...but has a plow and roof lights

and not jacked up ...just sits regular suspension

went to chop up some pork loin i bought yesterday

wanted to chop it up real fine and use it to mix with some flat rice noodles but i figured out why it was on sale so cheap...shoulda cooked it yesterday because today it smelled too funky
