The "Bandit" will surely be missed.

 

I already knew I wasn't going to watch it (I loved the books) but then it was available on a flight so I saw the first five minutes... Then turned it off.

The opening scene of the book felt iconic and atmospheric to me.. And links very importantly to the end of the final book. So starting the film with Jake instantly disappointed me.

 

Shit this is awful. You don't expect to outlive your kids. I'm praying for George and his family.

 

Having to bury your child is the worst thing I can imagine. I've seen a friend do it. I saw my mother do it.

My most sincere hope for George and Jane's strength through this.

 

Been grinding at work for the past 2 weeks pretty heavily. Today is mostly likely going to be the last day of it and I have tomorrow off!!
