What's Happening???

Its a rolling year... so if i have another sick day before the year is out, im monitored formally and HR are invited in.

6 days. We are under staffed and over worked and they reduced it from 10 to 6.

 

Left the clean, brisk, and oceanic air of Alaska today. To come home to the suffocating smoke filled sky of Oregon so I can continue adulting around the house.

 

Im desperate to go to Alaska.

Aight now I'm home for the morning, time to toke up and shower and probably should practice pool considering trials are tomorrow.

Whoops. I showered but forgot to toke. toke time!

Yeah, I didn't like the movie. I have a hard time with movies based on books that I've read, I'm probably too critical. They changed so much that it was basically a different story lol.

 

Well in the book I knew Jake was from the future. But I also remember walking rmthriugh caves and such, but if hotwater says it is its own sort of story then that would make sense.

 

From a different world, not necessarily the future (but could be, I suppose - other characters are from different periods in time).

 

Lol yeah, I guess I never picked up on different worlds, but I should with the creatures especially how in the 2nd book it started off with a scary crab.

Honestly while I was reading it, I read the intro which said King watched The Good The Bad and the Ugly and wanted to write a western, so I pictured this whole book in a western setting so when I saw the trailer to the movie I was like WTF! When did this all happen. Lol.

 

Roti is fun to cook with. It's like a pancake with air in it hehe. Anyway this is what I would call my vegetarian meal lol. Rice, broccoli, carrot and some chicken with roti.

 

I like the sound of that combo......

The movie was really heavy on technology, but the book was more built around magic (although there was a bit of tech too).
