I work in an office, and have always wondered what it might be like to do a job where I'm outside every day. That'd be a nice change, although it's hot af here.

    Never mind.

    Florida

lol It's actually pronounced by some as ''Dea-dree'' or ''Dee-dree''

    But, I prefer Dee-drah.

And then of course, people call me ''Dear-drah,'' but mine is spelled without the first 'r.' I don't correct anyone, anymore. :D

I put in the "R" but in all fairness, that's my native New England accent coming out.

I sometimes will say things like "pizzer" for pizza...

My accent was always very subtle and virtually non existent these days. Until I talk to someone back home

Oh that's right, you're in CA. I'd think CA is somewhat of a melting pot of different accents and dialects? South Florida is basically NYC in shorts.

I didn't have any respiratory symptoms.

I'm just going to call it an esophageal spasm and move on.

I have a coworker who has been out here for a few years and is from New England. I don't hear her accent often but when it comes out on certain words, it's amusing. Interesting thing is, in like normal conversation when I cannot even really notice her accent, on occasion people will come in to our store from New England as well and they notice her accent right away.

  18. I'm simple.
    I don't see A, I'm not going to pronounce it :p

I’m glad you’re doing better but a trip to an Urgent Care wouldn’t hurt.

    Lol Fine!

My mom would agree with you. ;)

    I don't have any insurance, Y'all. I haven't since 2010.

I've had this pain in my chest before. It happens rarely...like I go years in between. Last night was by far the worst and longest pain yet.

I use to have some Nitro Glycerin pills that were my mother's. She had esophageal spams while eating sometimes. I've taken all of those through the years. Mine don't happen while I'm eating, though.

I had just eaten some watermelon and I leaned forward from a seated position to let the cat out while seated at my desk. Something may have just gone wonky during that lean with the watermelon in there.

If I had insurance I'd go get this checked out but I don't; and tomorrow is hubby's office visit with the ortho doc which we will have to make a co-pay on, up front.

Maybe I'm tempting fate but I vow to not have a major illness until I get on medicare in 2025. If I need to, I'll start falling to pieces then. I can't afford to be anything but healthy and strong until then.
