Eric, my thoughts are with you and your loved ones. There isn't much to say about the horrors of cancer that has not already been said, but fuck that disease.

 

And hubby lied about why he ruined the food.

First, he said "We talked about it".
Then, he said he "misunderstood".
Thirdly, he said he "forgot".

Which is it???

Ugh. Cancer talk makes me worry about my health; I don't have a wife to pester me about it. My back hurts so bad some mornings that I have trouble standing, I haven't seen the eye doctor in almost 9 years, my blood pressure is high...and I'm about to turn 50 and am due for my first prostate exam. God I dread it.

Damn, Dice....9 years without seeing a doc? We've pretty much have the same issues damn near. Already beat you to 50 though.

 

Hubby apologized for screwing up the pork chops. I guess that means he didn't like his either...Live and learn.

@tumbling.dice, hubby and I embarrassed his doctor. I stayed in the room for his whole exam including the protate exam. That was probably a first for that doc, lol

Nine years since my last optometrist visit. I see my family doctor regularly but we don't get along at all. He's a stuck up little twerp (from my perspective) and I don't take his advice (from his perspective.)

To Have A MRI.....Not Keen On That, Apart From The Fact That A Visit To A Specialist And The MRI

Add Up To $1000-00.....At This Stage I'll Be Content With A Digital Exam Which Repeatedly

Shows Everything Is Normal.....

One of the (many) problems around here is good healthcare. The good doctors aren't taking patients at the moment. Same with dentists. And God help you if you need a mental health care professional; they're practically nonexistent.
