Howdy folks. Lost two people today, Kavi & Mike the manager. The turnover rate on this farm is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong Kavi was only gonna be here two weeks anyhow & Mike got hit with medical issues but still.

Right now I can survive & Michael, the owner, has thrown a few bucks my way twice. Besides I need a place where my spirit can heal & this place has the right amount if tranquility & hard work to allow that. It is good that I can stop runnin' the rat race here. This healin' is good enough to warrant some time & it is teachin' me patience. Plan on at least a full year. Beyond I cannot say.

Kavi left me a beautiful IPA when she left today. I drink to enjoy the beer not to get fuckered up. Michael also gives me q beer at least once a week.

We are treated fine. Most who come just arrive with idealistic expectations of farm life & cannot handle the reality of it. It is grueling work.

Sorry to hear you're still suffering. My case has mostly started drying up and scabbing over. Luckily it was a small area. I just had to Google 'shingles' and look at the pictures so, yeah, I was damned lucky.

Unfortunately, I just learned I don't like sesame oil or seeds. Did I mention I marinated my ahi in sesame oil and coated the whole thing with sesame seeds?
