I made a new friend at work the same day i turned in my notice. Go figure. After 4 years of blank faces staring at me after I make a dumb joke, finally a soul who gets my humor and i'm leaving her.

 

For some reason this made me sad.

That was a HUUUUGE hit for Bubba Wallace yesterday. Even I was very concerned for him, it took him ages to put the window net down, a sign he's okay. The ambulance team tore into him about it after, he said it was the last thing on his mind. The commentary team went dead quiet for 30 seconds watching, I was seeing no movement in the car. It was scary.

I remember Jeff Gordon doing exactly the same thing in 2007, no brakes heading into turn 1, tries to squab speed off hitting the grass and BANG into the wall hard, just lucky Bubba got the car sideways to hit the wall otherwise he be head on at 200mph.

Let's hope Bubba is okay because this one is what wrecked Jeff's back.

Easy to say lol, but, what you're supposed to do is just stay high on track ride the wall around but these guys even say that's right but it's so alien, you're initial instinct is to turn left away from the wall rather than into it.
