What's Happening???

I like cemeteries. Mostly older sections with the big tombstones.

My granddaddy ashes are buried in a part for cremations. Dad and I go and drink a beer with him and then empty a beer over his plaque.

I actually find cemeteries to be really peaceful and I like to just browse tombstones. Looking at the names and dates wondering who they were and whag happened to them, what they did in life.

This one was a video shot a couple days ago up near Taree NSW from inside a rural fire brigade truck, even though the video is supplied by a UK newsite.

But the red coloured mist is actually ground up babyboomers used to fertilize crops

Me too. I also find it peaceful and look through the names and dates on the tombstones. And read the little sayings. Its a great place to escape and be alone.

 

I also used to like taking black and white photos at the cemeteries. scary looking rows.

i took a picture once of a place i had no idea had ever even been a cemetery. when i developed the film, there was a ghost in it.
did a bunch of research to find would i could about that place. no single reference pinned it down, but putting a lot of two and two's together,
arrived at the conclusion that a famous indigenous leader had actually been burried there.

a note about the site; there was all sorts of highway construction going on all around it, so it was kind of like a little island of peace
with its rusty barbed wire fence on old railroad tie fence posts, surrounding this no more then an acre or so little mound, with its summer dry grasses and sage.
