Sorry to hear you deal with it too soul, and I'm glad you're able to fight it

It hits me with such physical force, like it starts as a physical thing where I feel so lethargic and dont have energy, then after a few days of that I start to feel worthless because I'm so lethargic, and that's when it hits me mentally. If I can fight through the physical part I'm usually okay. I should go work out. I'm going to go work out

The Georgia State Fair is over at Atlanta International Raceway.

I want to go so bad but I'm so friggin' broke!

Hopefully, a smaller fair will come near sometime between now and Halloween.

I need the atmosphere and I want to ride some rides.

Hell, I'd settle for some rides in a K-Mart parking lot even...

Girl just wants to have fun!!!

Went to my aunt and uncle's house today for lunch. They had friggin' Christmas decorations laid out already, not actually displayed or anything but just getting them ready. I came in from 94° heat and one of the first things I observed was Joseph and Mary looking over the Baby Jesus. It was depressing. (I told them that I was already past Christmas and was putting out an Easter Basket soon.)

It reached capacity in the year 2000, that's why all millenials are awful people.

I guess this happened yesterday but I'll mention it anyway. I was downtown and there was an event Twitch Con, which is like a conference for fans of online streaming and gaming, and there was also an EDM festival. So the odd thing about all this was that usually it's really difficult to find parking downtown, but somehow, amid both these events, there was plenty of street parking. Some guy in the EDM crowd tried to sell me tickets when I was walking around, this made me feel good to know that I still am approachable for such an event.

if one lays down deliberately, in the middle of a busy street, in the middle of the night, one may reasonably expect to wake up dead.
and at or near the busiest bus transfer point. not having a tv, i heard about this from drivers and other passengers on the bus to get groceries yesterday morning.

also multiple law units still on scene, which was right at the biggest transit bus transfer center.
actually a well lighted area, even in the middle of the night.

i have no further details about any of this, being out of any and all local social and or media loops.
no idea even how accurate even that tidbit might be.

oh there seemed to be some kind of annual big biker con going on in the streets of the casino district.

i know about streaming, not the acronym "edm" though. wish i could go to siggraf ever year.
wish it was closer to san fran then lost angels, or better yet, up here in too big not to be a city,
to small to have any reason for a city to be here.

Now I'm gonna make you jealous. Firstly I'm 'retired' so there's no such thing as going to work, secondly I have one of these:

The Hanbury Plus Riser Recliner Chair -

and can sit in this all day long in front of my television with my laptop, literally on my lap !!!

If you sit all day, then there is much less satisfaction in the plop.

i can and often do "sit all day long" but NOT in front of damd television and the kind crap corporate media demads i pretend to be entertained by, which i'm not.

i can and often do "sit all day long" in front of this computer, mostly making things on it, and the rest of the time, as much as my local wifi server will permit, cruzing the net.

i also ride local transit buses on my senior discounted ticket/"passes". and sometimes just walk. which i'd rather i didn't live in a city, to enjoy more what i'd be walking surrounded by.
i grew up in semi-wilderness and now i'm sort of stuck living in cities because in the u.s. its almost deregore to have a car not to. never lived in suburbia, thank 'god' for that.
wish there was a decent and affordable real grocery store close enough to walk, but i like riding the bus ok so that's not a problem.

even in the city there are little furry creatures that somehow manage to find places to hide out and things to eat, and i do love seeing and occasionally getting a chance to watch them.
growing up in the woods like i did, i guess i have kind of almost an instinct for spotting and seeing them. but you have to be very still to not chaise them away.
