Yeah this wasn't the first. I think there have been two others. I know I woke up from the first one all like, oh that's the first time HF has been in my dreams, I'll tell them all. But I forgot, and now I have forgotten the dream.

I have lucid dreams and sometimes wake up thinking I have various drugs that I did have in my dream

You should come and chat to my doctors, they give me some lovely medication. DF 118s, (Dihydro-codeine & Paracetomol) Morphine patches and Oromorph amongst other things.

I used to have a recurring dream where I was at work and all my tools were out on the bench and I had to put them away before I woke up ! Which when you think about it was crazy because I knew I was dreaming It so why did I worry so much about clearing up ?

It would suck if the next day when you got to work all your tools were out on the bench....

Like... dammit, I just did this.

School is on break this week.

My son and all the girls are at the beach; and my grandson got invited to go with friends so he is leaving for the beach tomorrow.

    It's so quiet here!

The air conditioners have not been necessary, hubby sits around with ear buds listening to something constantly, I've been quiet because he complained that I "talk 24 hrs. a day".

I was talking to, and singing to, myself, the cats and the dog. I stopped when he was so shitty to me about it.

They got some pleasant jazz going on at the library right now. I like jazz but most the stuff I know is either more mind bending like Miles Davis and Al Di Meola or has vocals. This is just a person on the guitar, playing what I imagine might be played at like a cafe or something, It's good background music. It doesn't have the really complex shifts between dissonance and melodic parts like the virtuosos but a bit more vibrant than smooth jazz. I'm looking for some recommendations, doesn't have to be guitar necessarily but if anyone knows some mellow instrumental jazz with sparse instrumentation, I'd like to check it out.

I only know Mark Farina; which I'm sure you do too. He is the guy that puts out the Mushroom Jazz series, but it's triphop, not actual jazz.

Last week I dropped a class. I dropped it for a few reasons, but ultimately I guess I didn't like its pace. I missed a class because I was running around with a new pair of doc martens (trying to get them stretched at different shops, dropping them off places in different cities, etc.). As soon as I realized I was going to be late I called my professor, but it went to voice mail. It was then that I decided that I wasn't going to make it to that class that day. Going late would be too embarrassing.

When I went to the lab on the following Thursday, I had none of the information pertaining to the lab. That was fine with the professors; I could just get it from a classmate. Since that isn't my style I decided I would participate but not turn in the work because I didn't have the lecture as background and all this other stuff (they had done about half the work for the lab during the class that I missed). And I missed a quiz on the day I wasn't in class as well.

Well, at the end of the day it felt like I lost out on quite a bit of work just for one absence. I felt bad, but I had to drop it. It didn't even ding my grade that bad, but I felt like I had fallen out of favor with the instructors; which may be totally untrue.

the other reason for dropping was its a cross listed class; criminal justice/anthropology. You can get credit for either or both or whatever; I don't need it because I'm not transferring, but anyway I didn't like the focus too much. It was spun toward law enforcement and I didn't get a feeling of anthropology at all. They were doing CSI work and stuff. That day that I missed was about processing hair and fiber found on a shirt; which is fine and interesting, but something wasn't clicking for me. Anyway, W on the transcript for that one...

I like Hedges, I'm not sure I would consider most his stuff background music. it's quite nuanced and dynamic.

Going to attend a cancer caregiver dinner tonight. Its something I look forward to every month.

Avery has an awful rash on her inside leg. Had to put the cone back on her to prevent licking.

This week ahead looks pretty empty. Going to work on Draggin's Lair.

I'm in the process of learning a new dance.
    Argentine Tango
My dancing partner is on board with me. Should be exciting going into the 2020 year
Here's a taste what I'll be learning and performing.
