What's Happening???

We just stopped off in a port for a couple hours. I've been to Melbourne several times before and I like it because there's a jbhifi every 50 meters and it's a great music city to buy music and records in.

Plus it has the Spearmint Rhino. Had a few good nights in there. Rhino Sundays Rock!

Wifey and I are going to a country pub with dad for lunch. we are taking our older nice with us she's almost 15. She doesn't like pubs because they're too loud and everybody too noisy so we will go to a quiet one with her.

Have either of you even worked with cattle?

They react this way because cows are by nature herd animals. Findin' themselves in a confined space or bein' directed into a confined space unnerves them. In the 6 1/2 months I've been workin' with them this is the only herd to react so violently to bein' moved. This is the same herd which last year, after castration, broke out of our fencin' and after much chargin' we lost one to the neighbor's herd. Note castration, these are steers not just cows, far more testosterone.

This meme is ignorant as hell and shows no actual knowledge of it's damn subject. The one time a cow absolutely knows it'll be dinner is at the slaughterhouse. For fucks sake! I personally watched one attempt to escape the liftgate with his nose at a house today. The blood in the air is all they need to know.

It ain't pretty, it ain't glorious, it ain't nice but it damn sure is necessary. It's a part of life. Until ya'll have lived it and stood face to face with that animal and known it honestly you best just keep your dumbass jokes and opinions to your damn selves.

 

I don't know how you can stand it. I could never scare an animal like that. Poor creatures.

I will never forget dancing with Michelle. She captured the attention of the entire dance venue all night long. She wants to dance with me two Thursday's from now. Cant wait.

I wont forget Isabella either... she was 6 foot 3 inches tall. Tallest girl I've seen in a long time. Ntm.... trying to twirl her

 

It's humorous attempt is no problemo. But if it would be ment as fact or wittingly point out an inconvient truth (which these kind of jokes are regularly also attempt to do) its a bit lacking.
As said they are oblivious to the coming slaughtering at that stage. Also, herd animals get indeed scared easily because of instincts. Although scaring them needlessly is of course dubious and nasty, seeing them get scared during the process of relocating them is at first instance no big deal and not only an innocent and natural occurence, but just something that happens regardless. It happens not only on their way to the slaughterhouse but also to a new glorious pasture

I've decided to take Spanish so that I won't appear totally ignorant when in Spain.

I dropped chemistry though, and decided not to pursue human anatomy or physiology at this point. Those will still be interesting later, but right now I want to prioritize learning Spanish. It's introductory, but I'm hoping I'll at least be able to greet people and ask to use the restroom.

Then you'll get your foundation as far as grammar and verb tenses in your class

 

How does it work?

I've heard of babel fish but don't really know what it does. It's on TV a lot.

 

I used "babbel" once to teach myself Norwegian. The lack of Norwegian speakers in my life means I've forgotten it all now.
