What's Happening???

Well considering I've been a "veggie head" my entire life, Glen... : P

I slept late this morning. I didn't sleep well during the night but finally fell asleep after daybreak. I guess I might have gotten 3 good hours then.

Coffee, pills, food, another pill...Almost ready to start the day.

I need to find a breakfast bar or some such to have with coffee so I can take the anti-inflammatory pill earlier than I do.

Anyway, I hope my heart and brain don't come spilling out of my eyes today. Yesterday was a rough one.

 

I volunteered myself to not take any more anti-depressants. Today's my 5th day .......

 

Mine don't appear to be working very well but there are life circumstances that medication can't help.

I'm naturally depressed. I always have been but you add a shit spouse on top of that and no medication can cure it.

 

Oh!

I forgot that I came here to report that my new grandson, "Brobee", is 6 months gestational age today and the charts say he's reached 12 inches in length!

 

I'm tired. I've worked a gazillion hours the past couple weeks and I've got a lot more work to do before the end of the month
So I think tonight I may get a bit tipsy and forget my workingman's blues
And watch that which shall not be named in the what's happening thread

 

Must have woke up 24 times during that sleep uncomfortable. fighting for the blanket, fighting for pillows. I think need to tell my wife she best sleep on the floor.

I'm tired
Boxing class was ultra hard tonight.
Body blows were shutting my lungs down.

Splitting firewood today was a great way to burn off the stress of a bad day at work.

When a log splits in half with one swing... so satisfying...

 

I think we have like victory boxing or something on the mini NES and SNES. One of them is like you only see your fists so it's first person.

But when I hear Mike Tyson I keep thinking of Michael Scott prank calling Ryan..

Just when you think maybe, possibly you could be a good mother.... You meet your sisters children and are exposed to the screaming, the tantrums and the bullshit and it kindly reminds me when I was like 7 and I knew they weren't for me.

 

When you swing the Axe do you think of anyone in particular?

vis-a-vis an ex-wife, ex-girlfriend, current wife....lol...

 

Chilly start to the morning, all wrapped up in a blankie on the porch having a coffee with the folks. Nice in the sun right now, chilly on the breeze. Will go for a drive to see our investment properties a little later but for now it's all about doing nothing and resting my body.

So my throat is almost back to normal which is good but I still have body and back pains all over me. I still feel very shivery too, my sleeps are really bad from waking up all the time and my wife says I'm often very wet skin to touch from sweat while trying to sleep so basically, I'm still not very well.

Pretty happy with how I've pushed through all that though and had fun etc. though it definitely did run me down a lot.

Yes the next couple of days before I leave are going to be as relaxing as I can make them because I don't want to get on that 17hr flight home again too sick as it killer me on the way over and I don't want another 2 weeks of errghh when I get back home because I'm making a conceded effort to come back home different.. Well not different but I don't want to fall back into my same habitual kind of stuff so I have plans man! But if I'm sick I'm just gonna pout around the house and fall back into the same routines.

 

I've had five hours sleep.
not enough.
