What's Happening???

My new flannel doesn't appear as warm or as thick as my previous flannel, but I think I look good in blue. We found some cute jackets at the shops like fake black fur hoody military style coats. My sister and I got one but now me and wifey keep saying "my jacket" to each other. It's heaps comfortable.

Actually, I'm kind of sad about memorial day. I never served, but I've just been thinking about all of the people who gave their lives. How they were there when I needed them.

 

Last evening, I walked out to the trash bin while hubby was watering the garden.

He informed me that I'd "Missed It!".

He said that the weird guys at the end of the street had been flying up and down the street in their Mercedes', even laying rubber and smoking up the street.

I heard none of it because of the noise from the a/c and running water in the kitchen.

He said he soaked one of the cars with the garden hose when they came flying by... and the guy slowed down but ended up deciding to leave.

I swear, that man is so un-hinged that he really can't be left alone.

I saw the skid marks going a couple hundred feet down the street. I really cannot believe that I missed that.

 

that's kind of scary because it's reckless driving, but also because that guy might be carrying a weapon and if you spray him he might react poorly. I'm glad he went away!

Went for a brief hike today, found a park and trail!

 

What constitutes a "brief" hike?

 

Was the park hidden? Or lost?

It just means taking a hike in your briefs

 

About an hour round trip. I don't have any steps tracker, so I couldn't tell you the distance. There was only one area that was sloped, the rest of it was basically flat ground.
