My family is going out to breakfast, which we usually do on Sunday anyway. It will be nice. I would like to do something special for my mom, but I can't think of anything. Maybe I'll do the dishes that inevitably accumulate each day.

My son bought me two hanging New Guinea Impatiens and surprised me by putting them on the porch last night when they got home from all day at the ball fields.

My daughter wanted to take me somewhere today so we decided that we will see a movie this afternoon.

 

I surprised my mum with a scarf that she wanted and some chocolates from cadbury.
Had a three course meal at my parents place with all of my family.

The slow cooked lamb shanks with green beans and sweet popo mash and some carrots and a dinner role. Other than the roll I made it to a keto diet. ... I didn't eat those champignions.. Or whatever they are.. As far as I'm concerned, I don't know if they belong with anything.

My daughter and I saw "Long Shot" at the movies. It was pretty cute. I'm a fan of Charlize Theron, anyway. It was nice because there were only about 10 of us watching it.

I've decided to change course in my studies. I've been watching television shows - crime, drama, detective work - and decided that forensic science might be interesting. Well, I don't know shit about forensic science so I thought I'd better keep after my due diligence and take some background courses. I'm taking Biology this summer for 6 weeks then in the fall it's on to Human Anatomy and Elementary Chemistry. From there I'm hoping to take the Forensic Science course, but I might do some other anatomy stuff first. One of the courses features a cadaver!

EDIT: Upon further review, I'll likely take Human Physiology before taking Forensic Science.
